Two individuals are facing multiple drug-related charges after a downtown drug seizure.
On December 13, 2018, Wood Buffalo RCMP executed a search warrant on an apartment building near Manning Avenue. There they found 22 grams of suspected cocaine, 14 grams of an unknown substance, and $3,225 in Canadian currency.
As a result, 36-year-old Faduma Ali was arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and property obtained by crime under $5,000.
Her next court appearance is set for February 26, 2019, in Fort McMurray.
Meanwhile, a 16-year-old, who can’t be identified, was also arrested and is facing the same charges. The youth’s court appearance is scheduled for February 19, 2019, in Fort McMurray.
